Dataforensics announces the release of PLog Environmental and PLog v6Norcross, Georgia, March 25, 2010 – Dataforensics, developer of software for geotechnical data collection and analysis, is pleased to announce the release of PLog Environmental and PLog v6. PLog Environmental includes all the functionality of PLog with the addition of exceptional modules which enable personnel in the field to collect and record environmental monitoring and testing data and all data necessary for a chain of custody form. PLog v6 builds on the success of previous PLog versions and adds more functionality. PLog Environmental is the result of a collaborative effort between Dataforensics and EarthScience Information Systems: developers of ESdat. ESdat and PLog Environmental together are a complete environmental data management system. The system capabilities include creating and assigning work orders for environmental field data collection, electronic field data collection, and field and laboratory data analysis and reporting of environmental data. PLog Environmental allows users to record electronically laboratory sample information for boreholes, water wells, gas wells, surface water features such as ponds and rivers, and QA samples. Additional information about PLog Environmental is available from Dataforensics’ website. PLog v6 remains true to the traditional navigation of past editions of PLog for collecting test pit and borehole data. PLog v6 enhancements include an Express Description form for rock and soil descriptions, enhanced work order functionality, streamlined navigation and an option to describe interbedded soil and rock layers.
About EarthScience Information Systems EarthScience Information Systems is a leader in management for environmental data. Our software application facilitates management of large amounts of environmental data by users and standardizes analysis and reporting. |

"You never have to input anything in gINT. Just input your data on the PDA and have gINT generate your logs. Geotechnical engineers are slow to adopt technology, but PLog is long overdue." Ron Groff |
