Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development Selects Dataforensics’ PLog Enterprise and Rapid CPTNorcross, Georgia – March 21, 2011 – Dataforensics, LLC announces the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (LADOTD) has selected Dataforensics PLog Enterprise and Rapid CPT software as the basis for their implementation of an Enterprise GIS-Based Geotechnical Data Management System. LADOTD established a plan to augment their existing Geotechnical Information Database while expanding the types of site investigation data available as well as fulfill the need to implement a digital system that streamlines and improves the department’s collection and storage methods for existing and future geotechnical data. LADOTD has selected Dataforensics’ PLog Enterprise and Rapid CPT as their solution for collecting, managing and storing and reporting their geotechnical data. Using PLog Enterprise and Rapid CPT, LADOTD will have the ability to quickly locate and analyze geotechnical data. This will improve the efficiency of LADOTD sections requiring geotechnical data. PLog Enterprise provides easy access and interoperability in the existing geotechnical GIS system and in conjunction with Rapid CPT. This ultimately serves to improve future exploration efforts and overall efficiency of the Department. “Dataforensics is happy have its software selected as the software of choice for the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development. Their selection of PLog Enterprise will take their data management to the next level and will result in significant return on investment not only in time saved, but management of existing and future geotechnical efforts. The quick turnaround of data in conjunction with enabling immediate access to historical data ultimately will improve the efficiency of the Department as a whole” said Scott Deaton, President - Dataforensics. "You never have to input anything in gINT. Just input your data on the PDA and have gINT generate your logs. Geotechnical engineers are slow to adopt technology, but PLog is long overdue." Ron Groff |
